Privacy Notice
Glass Onion SoundWorks · Last updated 6 November 2026
What we collect
When you send a project enquiry, we collect the name, email address, service selection and project details you choose to provide. Please do not include passwords, payment card information or sensitive personal information in the enquiry.
Why we use it
We use this information to read your enquiry, respond to you, discuss your requirements and, if requested, prepare a quotation. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and taking steps you request before a potential contract. You are not required to buy anything by submitting the form.
Where it goes
Our website is hosted by Netlify. Form submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms, and a notification is sent to our studio email inbox. This involves service providers processing data on our behalf. Please see Netlify’s privacy information for information about its services.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up and maintain necessary business records, then delete them when no longer needed. If an enquiry becomes a customer project, relevant correspondence may be retained for the duration required for business and legal purposes.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection to certain uses of your personal information. To make a request, use the contact form and explain that it concerns privacy. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cookies and third-party services
This site does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies in its own code. Hosting infrastructure and third-party services may process technical information necessary to deliver and protect the site. If analytics or additional third-party features are introduced, this notice will be reviewed.
Who is responsible
Glass Onion SoundWorks is currently operated as a UK sole-trader business. Further business contact and service-address details will be provided where legally required. For privacy enquiries, use our enquiry form.
This notice describes the current enquiry-only website. It will be reviewed before online payments, accounts or customer file uploads are introduced.
